To
evaluate
winter
wheat
varieties
which
have
various
degrees
of
winter
hardiness
for
yield
and
quality
as
affected
by
date
of
planting.
RESULTS
AND
SUMMARY:
The
yield
and
test
weight
of
the
6
winter
wheat
varieties,
Neeley,
Norstar,
Rocky,
Redland,
Rose
and
Tiber
are
given
in
table
1.
The
highest
yields
were
realized
from
the
planting
dates
of
September
2
and
October
2,
after
which
the
yields
dropped
significantly,
October
13
-
November
12.
FUTURE
PLANS:
The
study
will
be
continued
for
4
years.
