Due to the extreme drought and poor field conditions, we were not able to plant the offstation variety trial at Wibaux County. In addition, the off-station durum wheat variety trial at the Roosevelt county site was damaged by herbicides. Therefore, only results from the Sheridan county site are presented in the following table. The durum wheat yields were lower than that in a normal year, but the results showed which varieties performed well under drought conditions.
