Select a Post Applied Herbicide for Cereals

The correct choice of a herbicide is dependent on at least three things: The current crop, the next crop (and timeline), and the weeds you are targeting. If you know all these things, fill in the boxes below and a list of herbicides registered in Montana for the conditions you specify will be generated. Each herbicide name is linked to the label for that product as presented by Crop Data Management Systems.

Before proceeding, be sure and go to the label and read specific instructions on the use of that chemical. Our intent is not to rank or recommend any particular herbicide, but to reduce the number of choices by filtering out those chemicals that do not fit your crop, crop rotation, or weed spectrum.

If you're not sure which weeds you have, use the following links to help identify them.

Start by filling in the following boxes

Adjust the number of months until the next crop is planted. Keep in mind that the time is the number of months from herbicide application till a new crop is planted.
