JavaScript Not DetectedJavaScript is a browser component required to run the CD. This message indicates the CD cannot detect the browser's JavaScript system on your computer. One of three circumstances create this problem:

Using Internet Explorer with Windows XP Service Pack 2/3 or Vista - The appearance of this screen is normal for default installations of the Microsoft Internet Explorer 6SP2 or 7 browsers used with Windows XP SP2/SP3 or Vista. There are three ways to resolve this issue:

Click on the alert box above this message where it says "Click here for options...", and then click on "Allow Blocked Content...". Click "Yes" when the system asks if you wish to permit "Active Content" to run from this CD. The CD should automatically run at this point. You will need to repeat this process every time you wish to use the CD.

You can change Internet Explorer's global setting restricting the operation of "Active Content" on CDs. Instructions for making global changes to your browser's security settings are discussed in the FAQ.HTML file.

Install a non-Microsoft browser (eg, Mozilla Firefox 3) that does not restrict access to active content on CDs. Remember to select the new browser as the "default browser" during the installation process.

The Browser has JavaScript Disabled - An option in one of the browser's configuation menus has been set to disable Javascript. Click here for help to resolve this matter.

The Browser does not support JavaScript - If you are a frequent user of web sites over the Internet, this circumstance is unlikely. Older computers may have a browser installed that may not support JavaScript. Newer versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, the Netscape browser and the Mozilla Firefox browser all support Javascript. An installation file for the Mozilla Firefox 3 browser is provided on the CD.
